The Bank of Israel Annual Report has been published since 1955. It is published and presented to the government and to the Knesset Finance Committee at the end of March each year, pursuant to Section 54 of the Bank of Israel Law, 5770-2010. The Report encompasses a wide variety of areas of economic activity, including economic policy, GDP, uses and industries, inflation and monetary policy, the financial system, the labor market, the public sector and its financing, the balance of payments, welfare policy, the housing market, and more. The discussion in the report is accompanied by graphs and tables, and includes boxes that provide more in-depth analysis of special issues. It is also accompanied by statistical appendices that include long-term time series on the Israeli economy, that may help researchers at public institutions and businesses analyze market trends.
