- During the second quarter of 2018, the value of the public's financial assets portfolio increased by about NIS 22.1 billion (0.6 percent), to about NIS 3.65 trillion at the end of the quarter.
- The increase in the portfolio’s value in the second quarter was mainly a result of an increase in the balance of investments abroad, which was partly offset by a decline in the holdings of government bonds in Israel and makam.
- The value of the asset portfolio managed by institutional investors increased by about 1.6 percent in the second quarter of 2018.
- In the second quarter of the year, there were net redemptions from mutual funds totaling about NIS 2.5 billion, compared with net deposits in the previous five quarters.
