• During the fourth quarter of 2017, the value of the public's financial assets portfolio increased by about NIS 58.8 billion (1.7 percent), to about NIS 3.61 trillion at the end of the quarter.
  • The increase in the portfolio valu​e in the fourth quarter derived from an increase in most components.
  • The value of the asset portfolio managed by institutional investors increased by about 3.3 percent (NIS 50 billion) in the fourth quarter of 2017, to about NIS 1.59 trillion. The increase was a result of an increase in most investment components, particularly shares abroad, government bonds, makam, and cash and deposits.
  • In the fourth quarter of the year, there were net deposits in mutual funds totaling about NIS 6.3 billion, further to deposits in previous quarters.​
