- During the fourth quarter of 2015, the value of the public's financial assets portfolio increased by about NIS 58 billion (1.8 percent compared with the balance at the end of the third quarter), to about NIS 3.31 trillion at the end of December.
- The increase in the portfolio value during the fourth quarter derived mainly from an increase in cash and deposits (about NIS 33 billion, 3 percent).
- The value of the asset portfolio managed by institutional investors increased by about 3.5 percent (NIS 45 billion) in the fourth quarter of 2015, to about NIS 1.35 trillion at the end of December. The increase was mainly in the value of government bonds and makam (NIS 25 billion, 4.2 percent) and of bonds abroad (NIS 5.3 billion, 6.8 percent).
- The trend of net withdrawals from money market funds continued in the fourth quarter of 2015 (withdrawals of NIS 8.4 billion, 3.2 percent).
