Governor of the Bank of Israel Dr. Karnit Flug, the Bank’s management and employees express their sorrow at the passing of Prof. Yakir Plessner, who served as Deputy Governor of the Bank of Israel in 1982–85, and share in the family’s sorrow.
Prof. Plessner was an esteemed economist and his passing is a loss to Israel’s economic community.
