The Banking Supervision Department clarified today to the heads of banking corporations that Election Day for the 19th Knesset, set for January 22, 2013, will not be considered a business day in the banking system, as it is considered by law to be a holiday. This is in accordance with Proper Conduct of Banking Business Directive 402.
