Dr. Karnit Flug, Deputy Governor of the Bank of Israel serving as Acting Governor, congratulates Prof. Leo Leiderman on his expected appointment as Governor of the Bank of Israel, and wishes him much success.
Dr. Flug adds that she intends to step down from her position at the Bank of Israel after 25 years at the Bank, after assisting the new Governor for one month as he takes up his position and becomes better acquainted with the internal workings of the Bank.
