Supervisor of Banks David Zaken, Commissioner of Capital Markets, Insurance and Savings Dorit Salinger, and Israel Antitrust Authority Director General Prof. David Gilo denounce the defamation campaign that has been waged in recent days against the Chairman of the Israel Securities Authority. Public discussion of a specific regulator is appropriate and desired. With that, it appears that this case crosses the line, and an attempt to influence policy has become an unrestrained attack on a public servant. The regulators wish to support Prof. Shmuel Hauser in particular, and employees of the Israel Securities Authority in general, who will undoubtedly continue to work with professionalism and integrity for the good of the entire Israeli economy.
