Allocation of new identification codes for financial institutions – Cardcom and Tranzilla
Allocation of new identification codes for financial institutions – Cardcom and Tranzilla
Participants in the financial system in
Israel are identified by an identification code that is unique to each
participant (currently known as a “bank code”).
The code is comprised of two characters.
In order for a financial institution to be able to operate in the
various payment systems and provide account numbers to its customers, it must
be identified in all relevant systems in the economy.
The Bank of Israel has approved the
following financial institutions to receive an identification code in the
Israeli payment systems, and is today publishing the identification code
numbers that were allocated, as follows:
Identification code allocated to Cardcom
Settlements Ltd. – 60.
Identification code allocated to Tranzilla
Ltd. – 61.
