Israel’s foreign exchange reserves at the end of September 2026 stood at $236,998 million, a decline of $4,643 million from their level at the end of the previous month. The level of the reserves relative to GDP was 34.2 percent (Figure 1).
The decline was mainly the result of :
- a revaluationa of the reserves totaling approximately $4,411 million, and- the government’s foreign exchange activities totaling about $272 million.
