Spokesperson and Economic Information

The Office of the Spokesperson and Economic Information, led by the Bank of Israel Spokesperson, is responsible for explaining the Bank of Israel's actions by publishing information and press releases, holding press conferences, conducting interviews, and more. The office publishes press releases on various topics related to the Bank's activity, on a fixed schedule (monthly, quarterly, or yearly) and in response to one-off events. The press releases are sent to the media through various channels and also appear on the Bank of Israel's website in Hebrew, English, and Arabic. In addition to proactive information, the Office handles many enquiries on a daily basis from journalists and media outlets in Israel and abroad.
