Collateral

Collateral is used in monetary loans, intraday credit, and long-term loans:

  • MAKAM
  • Government bonds of all types and for all ranges
  • Deposits at the Bank of Israel (in shekels and dollars)
  • Foreign government and corporate securities according to certain criteria (rating, term, etc.)
  • Mortgage portfolios (according to fitness terms set by the Bank of Israel)—these collaterals were set only against long-term loans.
