In accordance with the new policy published by the Bank of Israel in June 2016, and after the first permit in accordance with such policy was granted on January 24, 2017 (link), the Governor today issued a permit to the controlling shareholders of a financial group managing customers’ funds, who requested permission to hold up to 7.5 percent of the means of control of in banking corporations.​
