The Aman-Organization and Management Science consulting company and its subsidiary, Dialog, of the Amanet Group are the winners of the Bank of Israel tender for changing the bank’s organizational structure. |
In the tender published on October 11, 2005 the Bank invited applications from companies to provide consulting services for changing the work processes and the organizational structure of the Bank of Israel. The Bank is interested in adapting its organizational structure and its work processes to enable it to meet its objectives as a modern central bank, while at the same time cutting down on bureaucracy and improving the level of services to its clients. |
Aman, active in the field for 36 years, specializes in industrial management engineering, and has been at the forefront of many significant organizational and procedural changes in recent years, while Dialog specializes in leading organizational change and in constructing service systems. |
The companies’ main task is to validate the new organizational structure being developed by the Bank, and to consolidate the operational conception, the service policy and the Bank's work processes. |
The formulation of the organizational assessments will be based on a comprehensive organizational diagnosis undertaken by the companies in conjunction with a comparative survey of three central banks in other countries. |
The major outcome of this process will be detailed planning of the organizational structure, and the redesigning of processes to make them more efficient, effective, and service-oriented so that the following objectives can be met: |
1. |
Optimal realization of the bank’s purpose and its major goals. |
2. |
Redefining work processes, the organizational structure and the plan for implementing and assimilating policy. |
3. |
Improving the services the Bank provides to the commercial banks, the business sector and the public, including optimal adaptation of the services to the needs of these parties. |
