The latest Companies Survey, which was conducted from the middle of September through the third week of October of this year, indicates a recovery of business sector activity in the third quarter of 2020, although activity continues to contract due to the coronavirus crisis. The net balance in the overall business sector improved in the third quarter, but remains very negative (Figure 1 and Table 1).
