The Banking Supervision Department has published a temporary order to the banking system, intended to provide the banks and credit card companies with the necessary business flexibility at this time, with the aim of making it easier for customers who have been harmed by the state of war and to enable continuity in the provision of services. The temporary order will be updated from time to time as necessary.
The state of war that we are in requires the provision of rapid response assistance to customers. As such, the Banking Supervision Department is adopting various measures, including the formulation of a temporary order that includes adjustments and leniencies that will help provide a response to banking system customers and support in dealing with the challenges of the situation. The Banking Supervision Department will continue helping customers who have been harmed by the situation in the ways available to it, including an examination of additional regulatory leniencies as necessary.
